INDIAN SUMMER is based in the Marlborough Sounds at the top of the South Island of NZ. The closest airport is Blenheim/Marlborough. The closest international airports are Auckland and Christchurch.
This is a very historic part of NZ and there are some very famous walks, with lovely bird life, which also take in spectacular views. There are several cafes and restaurants dotting the Sounds, some only accessible by foot and boat.
In NZ anchorages are generally free and do not need to be booked. No licenses are needed for fishing and there are generous limits on size and number of fish. There are a few marine reserves where no fishing is allowed. The crew of INDIAN SUMMER know the best fishing spots in the Sounds.

I had the opportunity to inspect and cruise on board the Indian Summer for two days in the Marlborough sounds recently. The yacht is a 59 foot Fairline built in 2012, I was impressed with accommodation for three couples and the offset galley below deck level which gave the Chef some privacy to create but also the guests can discuss the menu with the chef.
The food on board was excellent to the level of a 5 star restaurant in Auckland. The fly bridge added another dimension to the experience with a large sized viewing area and room for cocktails at sunset.
Over all very well presented and in excellent condition and a knowledgeable crew to show you the area. The Marlborough sounds is full of New Zealand History, bird and fish life, very safe secluded anchorages with excellent walking tracks.
